Ryan Leaves Behind an Impressive NFL Legacy

Former Indianapolis Colts quarterback Matt Ryan has announced his retirement from the NFL after 15 seasons. Ryan, who turns 38 in May, spent the past two seasons with the Colts after spending the first 14 years of his career with the Atlanta Falcons.

Ryan was the NFL's Most Valuable Player in 2016, leading the Falcons to the Super Bowl, where they lost to the New England Patriots. He is a four-time Pro Bowl selection and holds multiple Falcons franchise records.

In 2022, Ryan started 12 games for the Colts, completing 67% of his passes for 3,057 yards and 14 touchdowns. The Colts finished the season with a disappointing 4-12-1 record.
