The Northern Lights were visible over large parts of the Netherlands on multiple nights this past week, a rare and stunning sight for many observers. On Friday night, the lights were visible in the southernmost parts of the country, while on Saturday and Sunday, they were seen in the northern regions as well.
Dozens of people took to social media to share their photographs of the aurora borealis, capturing the vibrant colors and ethereal beauty of the natural phenomenon. While the Northern Lights are more commonly associated with higher latitudes, they can occasionally be seen in the Netherlands during periods of high solar activity.
